Postpartum Doula: Ideally women who have just given birth would be attended to and surrounded by their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and sisters, and would be well looked after and supported by this close family network. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many women in this day and age. We are here to help bridge that gap with experienced and non-judgmental care and nurturing for the new mother and baby. As part of our postnatal doula service, we provide:
practical information and support to help you with:
- breastfeeding
- settling techniques
- newborn care
assistance with day-to-day activities, such as:
- preparation of meals
- shopping and errands
- light housework
- care of siblings
The Postpartum Doula service fee is $25 per hour with a minimum of 6 hours per week.
A discount applies if you have also hired Nativity Birth Services as your birth doula.
