 High Risk Support:

Being identified as high-risk can be a stressful time for the whole family. Suddenly you are faced with a multitude of questions and concerns, and processing all the information surrounding your specific case can be overwhelming. Let us help you wade through and understand the information being given to you and the terms being used so that you can feel more confident and in control. We support you throughout your pregnancy, working with you through your fears, providing you with extra information and resources and putting you in touch with existing support systems and networks. We help you to understand the testing and procedures that are being recommended and why. It is never a doula's role to make decisions for you, but to ensure you have all the information needed to make a decision that feels right for you and your baby.

With the right support and knowledge you can plan for a positive and empowering birth, no matter how you are birthing.

"Only with trust, faith, and support can the woman allow the birth experience to enlighten and empower her. Women's strongest feelings [in terms of their birthings], positive and negative, focus on the way they were treated by their caregivers." Annie Kennedy / Penny Simkin
